Block System

Blocks are the universal unit in Mead. Everything addressable is a block. This page shows how each block type looks and behaves.

Anatomy

Every block has: content (primary), a toolbar when selected (secondary), and an optional settings panel (tertiary). Click a block to show its toolbar.

Highlight

Excerpt from a text or PDF media asset.

Clip

Time-range excerpt from video or audio.

Region

Spatial region of an image.

Annotation

Comment attached to a span of another block.
